All cells require oxygen to produce ATP – the molecular fuel source that allows cells to divide and to produce cellular products. In the skin, cellular products which are produced using ATP include barrier lipids that keep skin moist and resistant to environmentally-induced sensitivity; collagen and elastin – skin’s youthening proteins; hormones which deliver vital messages between cells; and enzymes, which convert nutrients into useful skin substances. As skin ages, ATP production is reduced, beginning around the age of 30 and decreasing 50% or more by 60 years of age.
Cell division, especially in the epidermis, is also reduced by as much as 50%.

Composed of patented “repair substances” from Live Yeast Cells, this soothing antioxidant is time-released into the skin’s surface via a Phospholipid Liposome, which prolongs TRF’s effects and contributes phosphorous – the skin’s energy-building element. Phospholipids are also needed to repair barrier lipids, improving skin’s internal moisture control and reducing environmental sensitivity. Two forms of Corn Extract - one from the white placental center of the corn kernel and another from the whole kernel - support energy production by supplying the raw materials cells need to produce ATP, then works with Ergothioneine – an amino acid nutrient from botanicals – to assist in the transport of that material into fuel-producing areas.
